I am a dog lover turned Dog Park Mom™.  After adopting Maisey, a homeless Chihuahua from a shelter, I became a mother in every sense of the word.  This happened during a very difficult time in my life. I was going through a divorce and living alone for the first time in my life. Maisey and I became family, and helped each other transition from loneliness to feeling loved, safe and secure. Our relationship is the inspiration for my entrepreneurial adventure – turning Dog Park Mom™, a term I use to describe my new lifestyle into a blog and a business.
